Fungi Fundamentals: Mushroom Production + Cooking

Join our Mushroom Production Manager, Rachel Bellis, and Chef Stephanie Michalak for the unique opportunity to learn about mushrooms from spore to plate. We will cover a wide range of topics from basic classification, production, and even how to cook edible mushrooms. You’ll get a chance to see how Turner Farm grows certified organic shiitake and oyster mushrooms (weather permitting) and get hands-on time in the Teaching Kitchen learning to maximize the flavors of fungi.
