The Science of Baking

Most people have heard the saying that baking is a science as well as an art, and that would be correct! However, most of the time we don’t think about what chemical reactions are taking place when we bake. This class will be all about taking a deep dive into the confectionary world. Far from a dry lecture, we will bake our way through the class covering how each ingredient interacts with one another to create delicious treats, like cookies, and how changing the amount or type of an ingredient can change our final product! A great class for kids and adults alike!
