Basil Pesto

Yield: 1 1/2 cups


  • ½ cup Pumpkin Seeds, toasted
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups Basil Leaves, washed, packed
  • Salt To Taste
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • 1 cup Olive Oil


  1. Place seeds, garlic, basil, salt, and lemon zest into a food processor. Process until mixture is coarsely chopped. Begin to slowly stream in olive oil with food processor running. Once oil is fully incorporated, stop processor and season to taste. Once smooth and seasoned, remove from food processor and use.
