Culinary Competencies: Stocks + Soups

Stocks + Soups is designed as a hands-on workshop to explain the process of making stock, and how to prepare stocks and soups cost-efficiently. The Teaching Kitchen Team will provide tips and tricks to make the most out of your produce and meat trim to create flavorful stocks. Additionally, the class will cover the difference stocks such as beef, chicken, and vegetable stock (and how to make them at home), as well as how to use stocks throughout your cooking to produce more flavorful dishes beyond soups. Students will make their own soups, perfect for winter time as well and lunch will be included. Soups include French Onion, Potato Leek, and Sweet Potato and Lentil.
Few spots will be available to maximize hands-on time and coaching!
