Herbs and Edible Flowers plus Tips for Carefree Gardening and Landscapes

Rita Heikenfeld will teach the basics of herb gardening and the benefits of cooking with herbs for healthy, delicious meals. Ron Wilson, from Natorp’s will answer all your gardening questions. A delicious salad with greens harvested from Turner Farm, a whole wheat orzo salad prepared by Rita, grilled Turner Farm Chicken prepared by Turner Farm’s chef, a sparkling shrub drink, and vitamin water will be served during class!
Class participants will also get an overview of how to make sipping vinegar, commonly known as a shrub, to make their own at home, and some lucky participants will be taking a plant home, provided by Natorp’s!
