Walnut Whole Wheat Pastry Crust
- 1 oz Walnuts, chopped finely
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 ¼ cup Whole Wheat Flour
- ½ cup Coconut Oil, room temp
- ¼ cup Water, ice cold
- In a large bowl, mix walnuts, sugar, salt, and flour. With clean hands, rub the coconut oil into the flour mixture until the oil is pea size.
- Once the coconut oil has been incorporated, slowly mix in the water by hand until the dough just comes together.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to roll out.
