Teaching Kitchen Executive Chef

After graduating from Culinary School in Oakville, Ontario, Chef Blake Larson moved back to Asheville, North Carolina, in the hope of pursuing her cooking career in a vast area of cuisine.

Spending most of her life traveling and having a driving passion for continued learning and exploring new places, Blake always found herself drawn to Appalachia. Whether it was in Northern Virginia, Black Mountain, NC, or the edge of Appalachia, Ohio, Blake's passion for foraging, farm-to-table, and community connection became evident when her partner and she chose to move to rural Ohio after an extended stay in Asheville. In Ohio, they started their culinary program "Flock Dining". Flock's mission will reign true wherever she goes- Food created with intention, experiences created from connection, and loving your neighbors.
