Early Autumn Flower Design Workshop (Sept 11)
Melinda will demonstrate making a tall oval dramatic statement arrangement in an 11 inch cobalt blue glass vase, using tape as the mechanic. Flowers actually last longer when arranged in clear water rather than floral foam. You will learn to artfully arrange flowers. After this class you can be confident in your ability to replicate this striking arrangement over and over again. Students will go to the flowers field and select their own early autumn flowers and foliage. You will be able to select from sunflowers, dahlias, cosmos, lisianthus, grasses, zinnias, celosias, and others. Back in the Barn Studio, you will construct your masterpiece with Melinda’s, and Zack’s guidance.
