Gardening with Age (Feb 7)

$20.00

Join us in the warm and cozy Turner Farm Barn Studio as we kick off the 2024 Gardening Class season with a class taught by long term local gardener, and former Executive Director of Gorman Heritage Farm, Sandra Murphy.   Sandra Murphy is still active growing part of her food  in a community garden plot she rents,  and helping to maintain the Trossset Wildflower Sanctuary at Gorman Heritage Farm in Evendale. Sandra says “Gardening is always rewarding, but sometimes as we age, we find a few challenges”. Sandra will help us learn some adaptations to help us plant, harvest, stay safe and have some fun, too.  Join us for and evening of garden talk, and be inspired to continue to grow vegetables, herbs, or flowers.
