In this hands-on class, Chef will introduce essential knife skills before guiding you through the preparation of a vibrant quinoa bowl featuring roasted root vegetables, quick-pickled vegetables, and a creamy homemade aioli. Along the way, you’ll see how a few simple techniques can elevate everyday ingredients into something delicious.
From chopping and slicing to seasoning, roasting, and pickling, you’ll have the opportunity to practice each technique as you prepare the components of your meal. You’ll create a simple pickle liquid, roast vegetables to bring out their natural sweetness, and make a fresh aioli from scratch. Once everything is prepared, you’ll assemble and plate your own quinoa bowl, then sit down to enjoy the finished dish together.
