Explore the art and science of great focaccia in this hands-on bread experience. You’ll learn what makes a successful focaccia dough, explore the differences between flour types and fermentation methods, and discover how ingredients like olive oil and compound butter can elevate freshly baked bread.
Our chef will demonstrate the fundamentals of focaccia dough while discussing flour varieties, hydration, fermentation, and the differences between commercial yeast and sourdough. You’ll then have the opportunity to top and bake your own focaccia before sitting down to enjoy a seasonal farm lunch, as well as take home your own loaf of bread!
What You’ll Learn:

Learn about fermentation and the role of bromation in developing flavor and texture.
