Chef Katy’s Baked Chicken Wings
Ingredients
2lb Turner Farm Chicken Wings
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked or regular, whichever you prefer!)
1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme (ground into powder)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Put brown sugar and all spices into a bowl and mix well.
Cut chicken into wings and flats and cut off wing tail if desired.
Pat dry chicken pieces.
Coat in the dry rub (they do not need oil).
Put chicken pieces on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Flip chicken pieces over and put them back into the oven for another 15 minutes. Feel free to leave them in longer if you prefer them more well-done.
