In this class we will make an arrangement that is anything but red, pink and white on repeat. Instead, we will focus on Tulips. Tulips have been used as cut flowers since the 6th century. The Persian star-crossed romance of Shirin and Farhad popularized the Tulip as a declaration of love. Tulips traveled the world, and by the 17th century, they had become a popular romantic gift in France. They then made their way to Holland, and a speculative market crash made them an seasonal staple annually, across the world.
