Fruit Tree Workshop (2/13/21)
Join us on Saturday, February 13, 2021, 12-2pm at Hayfields Orchard (8835 Old Indian Hill Road, Cincinnati, OH, 45243) for a hands-on workshop in selecting, caring for, and pruning fruit trees taught by orchardist Marsha Lindner and Turner Farm Community Garden Program Director Peter Huttinger. Learn how to grow fruit trees in our region using sustainable organic biological practices, such as organic sprays and treatments, as well as conventional approaches to orchard management. Strictly limited to 20 participants who will be separated into two groups of 10 as part of our COVID-19 safety protocols.
Please note that all participants will be required to sign a waiver and wear a face mask as we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our staff and community during the COVID-19 pandemic. If this class requires cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the cost of your ticket(s) will be refunded. If this class requires rescheduling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and you are unable to participate during the newly scheduled time, the cost of your ticket(s) will be refunded.
The workshop is co-sponsored by the Cincinnati Area Organic Fruit Growers and Turner Farm Community Garden Program. Proceeds from the workshop will benefit the Turner Farm Community Garden Program.
