Gut Health: Sauerkraut 101
Welcome to our 1st Turner Farm Wellness Workshop-Winter Series. In this class we will be learning and preparing Sauerkraut. It’s a great introduction into fermentation & our Chef has some great pro tips & information to bump up the knowledge you already have. The focus is proper fermentation techniques & the process of using lactobacillus (friendly bacteria).
We will get into more details in the workshop. How ferments improve your gut health & your overall wellbeing. Also, we will learn this technique and how it can be used seasonally to quickly ferment items to use in your own kitchen. Getting back to how Grandma or Grandpa used to do it!
We are very excited to start this new series and we hope to see you soon in the Studio Barn on the 3rd Tuesday of each month!
This class will have a Charcuterie-Snack Board provided along with Infused Water Tea & Coffee.
