Rooted in Regeneration: Sustainable Food Production in your Backyard

A series of five gardening classes offered by the Turner Farm Community Garden Program and hosted by the Price Hill Branch Library

In this hands-on, five-part series, we will grow together in knowledge, community and learn how to transform your backyard into a thriving vegetable garden. Whether you're new to gardening or looking to deepen your skills, each class will guide you through practical techniques to grow food in harmony with nature, regenerate your soil, and create a resilient garden that can provide you with fresh, homegrown produce.

Class topics cover everything from soil preparation, seed starting, pest management, harvesting for healthy eating, nutrition and more. Through both an in-class curriculum and hands-on experience in the community garden, you will gain the confidence and skills to sustain a lifetime of growing at home.

Classes are FREE and open to the public, with advance registration.

Instructors: Kristiana Derr and Peter Huttinger

Location: Price Hill Branch Library, 970 Purcell Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45205 and the Price Hill Community Garden.
